Peake for a soul-stirring walk beneath the trees & an introduction to the art of nature
journaling. Our guide will help you slow down, notice the details, make observations and
capture the quiet magic and resilience of the natural world. Journals, writing utensils, and
light refreshments will be provided before we set out. Bring your creativity, wonder, and
curiosity as we celebrate California State Parks Week! The gate for the dirt fire road will be
open, please drive down (speed limit 5mph) to the Day-Use picnic area. Signs will point this
area out.
