April’s full “Pink Moon” gets its name from the vibrant pink phlox flowers that bloom on the East Coast in spring. Here at China Camp, the moon coincides with our native pink wildflower, the checkermallow. Naturalist Harold Hirsch will lead this moderately strenuous hike.
